my saturday summed up in pictures.

we were putting up christmas decorations at my house last night and i found this box full of these well, things.

i asked what they were and my mom said "pickled people."

she told me how she made these the first year her and my dad were married cause they didnt have any christmas ornaments.

i just thought they were the funniest things. cause she took the time to make all of them :)

this little guy is another one of my moms many decorations.

my dad hung it above our table and actually thought it was cute hahah.

i dunno why but last night i found it hilarious!

oh and just so everyone knows (if anyone even reads this silly blog that i like to believe is interesting) my sister is prego, due at the end of march and having a boy. and i am so so excited!

my favorite show to watch on those weeknights nights i cant sleep or i should be and instead im watching this.

seriously, what would the world do without pictures?! ahh i can look at pictures all day if i want to. i cant wait until i get my camera and can start my own photography adventures.

also, for the past couple of days i have been more obsessed with the eighties than normal.

im in the process of finally realizing that you have got to find your own inner happiness, and you really cant care what anyone thinks. they will either like you or they wont like you. i have always thought that i think like this for forever now but i realized a couple of days ago that i havent.

it's that same story you hear over and over again from a million different girls: you go out with a guy and then he doesnt call or contact you in any way. so there i was stressing and stressing when i realized "wow, its his loss!"

anyways, just thought i would share that :)
